Introduction
This manual is for connecting the archival software Optimal Systems Enaio 8.50.
This guide is tested with the Silent Brick WORM Archive Version 2.10

Requirements Compliance Option is necessary to enable various WORM volume types.

Installation and Connectors Installation and electrical connection as well as network connection are to be done as described in the manual Installation

Network Adjustments The network settings are to be adjusted as described in the manual Installation

Check your service user for Enaio

If the Enaio user is active directory based, join the Silent Brick System to your active directory too

Go to Settings > SMB

Enter your credentials in the active directory menu

If the Enaio user is a local user account, create the same local user on your Silent Brick System

Go to Settings > SMB

Create the same user with the same password
-

Create an archive with Stage and WORM area.

Create a volume of type WORM with retention ( RWRO triggered )

Safe files MUST NOT be listed
-
Check the checkbox for 'Do no archive 0-byte files'

The retention period in years and days must be adopted to the value necessary for the data content being archived

Create a share for the Volume you created before

Make sure the Enaio Service user is added to the User permissions

Add your share under media path
-
Make sure to select the checkbox 'Mark as Read-Only' for your volume

Make sure to select the checkbox 'Set last access date' for your second volume
